This Privacy Policy explains how Opero, Inc. (“Opero,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our websites, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide — account details (name, email, company), content you submit (staffing requests, schedules, reports, messages), and billing information processed by our payment providers.

Information collected automatically — device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and, for field features like geofenced clock-in, location data when you enable it.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide and improve the Services, process transactions, verify work and attendance, communicate with you (including service updates and support), maintain safety and security, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Services (hosting, payments, analytics, communications), with your organization's administrators when you use the Services through an employer or client account, when required by law, and in connection with a merger or acquisition. All providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.

4. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@opero.example.com.

7. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product.
